Rodrigo Muniz

I have broad interest in condensed matter physics, and my research focus is on the optical properties of materials. I am particularly interested in developing methods for calculating the optical response of materials, and identifying novel phenomena.

Lately, I have been working on quantum interference control of photocurrents based on optical absorption processes of different orders. We expect that the development of this technique will enable the use of short optical pulses for controlling electronic processes at unprecedented ultrafast timescales.
